Last updated: September 12, 2025
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), TeamworkNation will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the law.
If you believe that content on the Services infringes your copyright, you (or your authorized agent) may submit a written notice to our designated agent at:
Designated Agent for DMCA Notices
Required Information for DMCA Notice
Your notice must include all of the following information as required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by one notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing (or to be the subject of infringing activity) and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material.
- Information reasonably sufficient to allow us to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and an email address.
- A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Our Response to DMCA Notices
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content. In appropriate circumstances, we may also terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
If you believe your content was removed or disabled in error, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent that complies with the DMCA. Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material in accordance with the law.
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, TeamworkNation has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers.
A "repeat infringer" is a user who has been the subject of multiple valid DMCA notices regarding content they submitted to the Services. For example, if a user repeatedly posts challenge reviews or other submissions that contain copyrighted material they do not own (such as copying text or images from third-party competitions, books, or websites), we may disable or terminate their account.
We will also remove or restrict access to content when appropriate, even for a single violation, to comply with copyright law and protect the integrity of the Services.
Note: This policy does not apply to TeamworkNation's own curriculum and challenge content, which originates with us. It applies only to user-submitted material (such as challenge reviews, uploaded files, or comments).
Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification under the DMCA. Please send your counter-notification to our Designated Agent (see contact details above).
Your counter-notification must include all of the following, as required by 17 U.S.C. §512(g):
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and the location at which it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your judicial district (or, if outside the United States, the federal district court where TeamworkNation is located), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice or their authorized agent.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed material, unless the original complainant files a court action seeking to restrain you from engaging in the allegedly infringing activity within the time required by law.
